12th Val d’Isère Advanced Shoulder Course 14th - 16th April 2022 Online

It is a great pleasure to invite you to the unique Val d’Isère Advanced Master Course on Shoulder Surgery. This 12th edition will take place in April 2022 with a new shorter format focused on difficult shoulder conditions including arthroscopy, open surgery and for the first time arthroplasty.

This year we are bringing to you a threefold congress: as usually, the congress will take place physically in Val d’Isère but as well and the first time in other places across the world with a multiplex connection. Finally, it will also be available virtually as an e-congress. The amazing field of shoulder surgery, arthroscopy and arthroplasty is continuously evolving, and world-famous experts will be there to talk to you through the latest breakthroughs and advancements and update your knowledge on the newest shoulder hot topics.

Topics such as shoulder anterior instability in patients younger than 15 and older than 60, huge Hill-Sachs bone defect, complications after remplissage and shoulder dyskinesia will be discussed. Additionally, irreparable rotator cuff lesion, Tough scapula and clavicular conditions will be covered. Finally, local cartilage defect in young patient, degenerative neurologic shoulder, glenoid bone loss in primary case, posterior static subluxation with arthritis, humerus bone loss in revision cases, mixed reality and AI, infections and neurological lesions after RSA will be screened and possible options discussed. Apart from other meetings, the Advanced Val d’Isère Shoulder Course will give you the opportunity to attend clinical presentations, debate, relive surgeries, state of the art. Don’t hesitate to bring your most difficult cases and expect to be selected to come up on the stage as an invited faculty to receive comments and advises because we learn from each other through discussions!
