In order to participate, first, you will need to login to the Congress website with your IUCN account or create an account if needed.

Rates and categories are listed below. Registration will only be complete once the payment will be successful. An attestation letter will be available for download after completion as well as a payment of the registration which can be used to support your visa application. You will need to upload a photo during the registration process.

Access

Registration fees include participation in all public sessions/events including opening and closing ceremonies and access to the exhibition area (within the maximum building/room capacities and in compliance with relevant security measures) unless specified otherwise for a specific category. For Members’ Assembly sittings and ceremonies priority seating will be given to IUCN Members. Fees will not cover airport transfers, local transportation, meals, accommodation, excursions and/or insurance and are listed without VAT (note that in principle no VAT will apply for registration fees).

Categories definition

  1. Members: All participants who are staff of IUCN Member organisations, IUCN Commission members or staff of IUCN National or Regional Committees. Members registering only for the Assembly would be entitled to register free of charge.
  2. General: Any participant who is not affiliated to IUCN under category 1.
  3. Youth: Any participant born after 11 September 1996. Participants registering as youth may be required to prove their age with an ID onsite.
  4. Accompanying persons: registration that must be linked to a full Congress registration and which will only give restricted access to the following parts: Opening ceremony, opening reception, closing ceremony, exhibition, social events in the evening (after 6:30 pm).
  5. Day Pass: Any individual who wishes to participate in only one day of the Congress. Day passes will be available to participate between 3 and 10 September 2021 and are restricted to a maximum of one day.
  6. Participants and Youth participants living in France: Any individual domiciled in France. Justification of residence in France (ID card, driving license, carte de séjour/residence or facture EDF) may be requested on site. Youth residents of France must be born after 11 Septembre 1996 and may be required to prove their age with an ID onsite.
  7. Participants living outside of France: Any individual domiciled outside of France.
