Welcome to the Call for papers platform!

 

The Comité français d’histoire de l’art (CFHA), the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art (INHA) and the Laboratoire de Recherche Historique Rhône-Alpes (LARHRA) are thrilled to announce the opening of the Call for papers for the 36th CIHA Congress, on the theme Matter Materiality.

The CIHA conference is open to researchers from all professional backgrounds in the broad field of art history. Proposals from young researchers are welcome.

The 36th CIHA Congress Lyon 2024 will host 93 parallel sessions over the 4 days of conferences, from 23 to 28 June 2024.

Proposals for papers can be submitted online via the "Call for papers" page on this platform.

Proposals for papers are examinated by the chairs of the sessions concerned.

Call for papers calendar :

• Opening of the Call for papers: 12 June 2023
• Closing of the Call for papers: 1st October 2023
• Selection of papers by chairs: 11 October 2023
• Publication of the préprogramme of the 36th CIHA Congress: 27 October 2023
• Conference dates: 23-27 June 2024
